About Our Seeds
We offer a wide variety of seeds, including certified organic, heirloom, and hybrid options. All of our seeds are non-GMO. Check the product description for specific details on each seed type.
Heirloom seeds come from plants that have been passed down for generations and are open-pollinated. Open-pollinated seeds are pollinated by natural means (insects, wind) and will produce plants similar to the parent. Hybrid seeds are created by cross-pollinating two different parent plants to produce desirable traits like disease resistance or higher yield, but their seeds may not grow true-to-type.
To maintain viability, store your seeds in a cool, dark, and dry place. An airtight container in a refrigerator is an ideal location for long-term storage.
Our seeds are tested for germination and have a shelf life of 3-5 years, depending on the storage. If stored properly, many seeds can remain viable for even longer.
Gardening & Seed Care
While we sell seeds as souvenirs, the seeds can germinate when planted. You can soon find more detailed growing guides on our website's upcoming blog section.
The best planting time depends on your local climate and the specific plant variety. When planting outdoors, it is best to plant the seeds early springtime. You can soon find more detailed growing guides on our website's upcoming blog section
Tall, 'leggy' seedlings are usually a sign that they are not receiving enough light. Move them to a brighter location or supplement with a grow light, ensuring the light source is on an adequate distance above the plants.
